Noy Lazarovich

Masters in Architecture & Urban Planning
Technion – Israel Institute of Technology
Thesis Topic: Smart Material Systems for High Performance Building Envelopes.

Noy Lazarovich is a graduate of the "Azrieli Fellows Program", at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning in the Technion. Her interdisciplinary research, which combines architecture and material engineering, focuses on Smart Material Systems and their potential benefit for climatically responsive building envelopes.

She is currently finalizing her thesis and has started an internship at "Gaby Shwartz Architects" in Haifa. She also continues teaching once a week at the Technion, about issues related to architecture-oriented climate and energy.
In a few years from now, Noy hopes to have her own architecture office that will combine everyday practice with ideas from her research, such as innovative materials and sustainable architecture.

A Personal Perspective:
"I had the honor to be accepted to the "Azrieli Fellows Program" after finishing my B.A. studies at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning at the Technion. I was delighted to discover that besides the generous support of my research, I had found a warm supporting family. I found the Azrieli Fellow Forums meetings, with their variety of lectures from different fields, so enriching and helpful.
