David Amar

David (Didi) Amar is a PhD student in the field of Systems Biology at Tel Aviv University. His research focuses on four domains: Modeling human diseases using multiple data sources; differential co-expression analysis of gene expression data and functional connectivity analysis of fMRI data; searching for blood-based biomarkers for Parkinson’s disease; and improving understanding of cellular pathways. By developing novel computational techniques and analyzing multiple diverse information sources, David (Didi) aims to improve our understanding of key biological systems and generate tools that will serve the biomedical community.
