Izhak Berkovich is a PhD student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in the field of Education Policy, Administration and Leadership. His research focuses on principal - teacher relationships, and the way in which successful principals mobilize their teaching staff through emotional influence. By providing a comprehensive model of the mechanism by which educational leaders structure emotional and organizational reality for their subordinates, Izhak hopes to make significant impact on both theory and practice, including practical applications for mitigating teacher burnout, and enhancing principal -teacher performance, thus forging a general improvement in the complex school environment.
