Idan Frumkin

Idan Frumkin is a PhD student in molecular genetics at the Weizmann Institute of
Science. His studies center on the evolution of cellular machineries,
emphasizing the systems biology perspective and combining both
experimental and computational methodologies. Idan’s research
strives to reveal the mechanism through which species and cells
adapt to the ever changing environment of planet earth. As both
evolutionist and cell biologist and a great believer in team work,
Idan wishes to combine the two fields with the goal of making
real progress in our understanding of the evolution of cellular
pathways, machineries and organelles.
